The Other Soul I Lost Mine in
I saw your name appeared
on the lock screen on my phone
it was saved a heart
the heart I gave away
I tried to hold myself back
but my hand reacted almost naturally
reaching out to the other soul
I lost mine in
the screen displayed my chat with you
oh god
I had never seen anyone so desperate before
10 messages I sent
excitedly telling you about my day
for me to receive an “oh” from you
my heart shattered to two
if only I still had a heart
but I gave mine away
to the other soul I lost mine in
