Dung Beetle Wheel

I ain't got a thing to write
Imma just gonna type and whatever
happens, no matter how bad
you're going to get it

My ear, you'll wet it when you
give me a wet willie
You're silly, I am serious, I am real,
I am the real deal
a real big deal, I am prone to veal
never had it, just rhymed
I try to do that time to time
and hope it makes it flow a little better
as I try to change this into a poem
instead of an open letter

Rapping and rhyming and trying
defiant, unreliable diamond
fugazi watch
I am bound to chime in
on talks of licking limes
and surgeries botched
I am bound to talk on nursery flocks
that's a batch of babies in a backyard
who attack elderly flocks

I'll wax poetic

I'll tell you what the ark's ducks squawked
if Noah said it
and I can find it chiseled into rock imbedded
in the bottom of the oceans that he soared,
what a chore
100 animals maybe more
I dunno
I've never read a bible
never even tried to
never really read a book
never really read a chapter
I read a prologue once and did
an essay after

That was Frankenstein
now the monster is mine,
an idiotic spirit
symbiotic to all near it
when it rains and pours
power of lightning gets soaked up
and I pour out more

and come to think of it
I hear that that isn't even in the book
it alluded to some lightning
that doesn’t mean its true
that was the 1931 film where it was introduced
and now it's been adopted after
Boris Karloff let it loose

That was the end of this most important piece
allow me more please,
I said Noah soared oceans,
but those oceans were sailed
I have failed and I deserve last place and worst prize
burgers with bad taste, soggy fries
a drink laced with ricin
I deserve to lose a race
I don't even know how ships work
I'm a disgrace, waste, hate me, innate
I don't know what innate means
but I don't deserve to look it up
this is word throw up

This is yuck, mucky mess, enough's enough
give it a rest, take a rest
a nap be blessed, come back tomorrow
or flee the nest, give feet the test
let soul fall from chest

Those with degrees have said
I'm kinda crazy, kinda nuts
with a big old butt, they said that
said they should see me 30 times a month
and I should gulp 40 pills at once, every hour
candy pills
sweet and sour, M&M's and skittles
give me power, they said that,

They said I should eat fruit gushers
and shush hushers

Beat around the bush covered in
some mud wearing the hood of my favorite sweater
They said I should jump on the mall and yell
the hood loves you all, it is I
ambassador of gangsters
I am impractical prankster

I wish I had a nap
or could be slapped
today per usual by one most unusual
who doesn't even follow Sasquatch
or drink bath water
or think humans should be able to flap,
not a peep not word about it ever
I'll stay quiet on that
like I stay quiet on cats
there crazy, oops,
shouldn’t have said that

I'll tell you about a lizard though
saw one once on a brick wall
in Arkansas and it did nothing
but it looked cool though it
made me out a fool
made me out a freak
no good moron, weak

Looking plastered three sheets
to wicked wind
made me regret my decision to speak

That lizard made me feel like a creep
a lizard looney
made me feel like a buffoon
eating veggies with a spoon
when I got back from that wall
and had to tell my friends that I was wrong
cuz lizards don't fly
lizards don't sing songs
can't cook pie
lizards won't right wrongs
a lizards just a lizard man
eating flies and shit

I saw a fly once on my arm
I said hi and it licked the air a bit
and I kissed him back
when I pulled back it was just me and my lips
if only he'd landed on my hips
or nips, or somewhere exciting
I wonder if cows ever wish they could eat icing
off of dessert grass on there little cow birthdays
that's my favorite word, little
make you feel small
makes me feel like a skittle
on a cow pie, dung pie
pushed under Egyptian sky by a beetle, black
towards a pyramid
made of stone stacks
