Vanity
Tell me what is it that you see
You keep staring at your reflection
Now look a little deeper please
And do a thorough introspection
All you see is your shallow prettiness
Now look just beyond the mirror
You see that vast abyss of emptiness
Thats your soul, is it becoming clearer
You never once even saw the sun
Or the beauty from all of nature
You also never loved anyone
Or experienced anything greater
Just your own indulgence of inhumanity
Which left your emotions in isolation
This coffin is punishment for your vanity
Sentenced to a life of eternal damnation
You keep staring at your reflection
Now look a little deeper please
And do a thorough introspection
All you see is your shallow prettiness
Now look just beyond the mirror
You see that vast abyss of emptiness
Thats your soul, is it becoming clearer
You never once even saw the sun
Or the beauty from all of nature
You also never loved anyone
Or experienced anything greater
Just your own indulgence of inhumanity
Which left your emotions in isolation
This coffin is punishment for your vanity
Sentenced to a life of eternal damnation
