Putting pen to canvas tonight
Like so many efforts before
Bringing my darkness to light
Demons crash until their sore

Therapy lingers within this page
Drowning in memories called life
Releasing tension from the rage
Altered inside this constant strife

Slaying monsters with vicious ink
My quill eliminates every villain
Exposing evil’s next morbid kink
Spitting rhymes laced in penicillin

The cadence in this aging heart
Powers the flow within this soul
When the mood makes me start
