The Clock Tower Hillshire Pt 2

Time passes again and another countess set's the scene.
An alleyway, with tall walls and no windows just halls.
Present an opportunity to vanishing Jack,
another course of fogginess and the dark coach of evil,
displays the plot of the hunchback and his menace.

The hunchback shouts out a call,
and rounds the corner to see the enquirer,
"let me see your cash"
Gold pieces of interest toss there temptations at her,
and as cool night progresses the desperation set the mood.
Under a full moon,
she fall's prey to the need for money's scary greed.

She accepts the proposition,
ready to react she displays her interest in meeting the figure in black.
When he appears she hesitates then disappears.

Strolling away a glimpse of a cloak and top hat are all that show.
In the arms of the stranger a scream radiates throughout the air.
As she lays stripped of her dignity the scene unfolds.
White satin gloves, a metallic object revealed.

With not a moment too soon a whistle blows shaking the dark figure to his core.
Out comes the inspector to challenge Jack,
to make him pay for his gruesome attacks.

To the ground Jack dives seeking the closest corner to hide.
To no avail would it help as the inspectors pistol caught him with its bullet.
Upon approaching Jack,
a surprise left the inspector in a shocking feel.

The next act reveals the identity to be the fair mayor of the town,
leaving everyone motionless and grieved.
In that moment Jack fall's dead before any questions can stir his head.
Inspectors from this day on still stand puzzled at the horrors that gripped this town.
