Image for the poem sanctity

sanctity

watering my wilted flowers
I grow wildflowers inside my soul
my garden of hope grows

your smile was my sunshine
I rain down on them with my tears
when I felt like I would break

I would come here and plant another sunflower
singing to me in their beds
hopeful faces turned upward tp me

encouraging the loneliness in me
saying it will make you grow within
emotionally tender and giving all you have

it's our inspiration to keep growing
this place isn't for everyone
Lovely blue flowers grow here and nowhere else

there is sanctity in your sanctuary
no one can touch you here
but for every broken heart
we would wither from neglect
