Zephyr of Jebel Vulture

" This is a true story that happened a few years ago.."
on some casual hike, i happened to assist an awful event, as a vulture was hunting
a wild rabbit thru the forest, it was such a moment i could never forget''

Northward, beside an upward path they lie
Stretching on steep hills, of a pine forest
They form a chain of curved and even lines
The Vulture hills release a piny zephyr.

But as soft and mild as the breeze they spill
The mountains conceal the most wild beasts
Rapacious claws haunt the mountain's hill
Lurking high in the blue, for any living feasts

One Summer as my walk ended at the hill
Just a few steps from the the foot of the mount
As silent time of noon and while all was still
I caught the moving shadow of a wild hunt

The black winged ghost was darting like a shaft
Up the steep hills at the wake of a haring beast
The predator tracked the prey eagerly fast
Leaving no scope for the little animal to resist

Weak beast ended at the claws of the vulture
The hunt ended in death after bloody adventure
All under my eyes was seen like a live show
I ached but i did enjoy the live poetic flow
