Bride’s Vengeance
In satin silk, she stands so still,
A bride adorned, with iron will,
Her heart once pure, now burned and black,
For trust has shattered, no turning back.
In secret shadows, she did find,
Her love betrayed, her soul confined,
His whispered vows, now tainted lies,
In passion’s grip, her anger flies.
She crept one night, with silent tread,
To see the truth her heart did dread,
Behind closed doors, she heard the sound,
Of love forbidden, betrayal found.
Her husband’s touch, on another’s skin,
The bridesmaid’s gasp, a deadly sin,
Their bodies tangled, lost in lust,
Her wedding vows now turned to dust.
She watched them move, with fevered haste,
Her fury grew, no love to waste,
In darkness deep, her plans did brew,
For she would make them both pay due.
Her face a mask, on her wedding day,
But in her mind, dark shadows play,
A knife concealed, in lace and bloom,
Her bridesmaid’s fate, sealed in that room.
She smiles so sweet, as vows are said,
But in her heart, she sees them dead,
For justice cold, her hand will wield,
Their secret tryst, their doom is sealed.
As night descends, she makes her way,
To where her love and lies did lay,
With steady hand, she draws the blade,
For love betrayed, her final trade.
In one swift strike, her vengeance met,
The bridesmaid falls, her sin to debt,
And in her heart, the rage subsides,
For she has claimed her justice, bride.
