Lost Fire

I want to burn for you
I want to feel that desire that others feel
I see the longing in your eyes
I feel the want in your kiss
But there has been much
Much to undo
Much to forget
Too much regret
Until time speeds up  
Or decides to rewind
I wait for the smoke
To signal the fire has
Returned and I feel the flame.
