all over again

zoomed in too close to see
the bigger picture
too hot, too cold
too far into the future
 
too good, too bad
living out the past tense  
sink into the quicksand  
that is my own subconscious
 
i’ve been soaking it all in  
every detail recorded
every pore water boarded
all over again
