Tides of Destiny
I hate it when
Our love seems unsure
Used to glitter across the shore
Now I see a distant island
Missing our dovey homeland
On edge of each others pit
Tensing as each grain fall
Another fight another wall
To be washed in emotional tides
The waves that overwhelm
Our prides
Esteem
Faith n'
Security
Questioning our bind
The sandcastle bond
Are we rebuilding once more?
Or finished playing this game?
Crash and mellow rides
Tears like wet sand
Soaked in seawater
We swallow as it sinks
You and I are meant to be...
Right?
