I'm so sorry you're going through this. You have written your pain and conflict with stunning strength and honesty. You have done so much to better yourself and if that family does not see it... I hope you know this family does. You are a beautiful person. This is a beautiful expression.

Unfortunately, I learned to walk away very easily and abruptly, when things seem shifty. We get one life to live happily, so never settle.

There's a lot of this going around. A lack of accountability from individuals towards themselves and from society towards the individual. And truth is suffering
