But not old enuff to catch a buzz ( gotta be 21)

Old enuff to go to jail
(not talkn juvie, 18 cept for special circumstances)
But not old enuff to vape and inhale
(21 again. are we playing blackjack?)

Old enuff to go to prison
(18 again. but special dispensations allow children young as 12 to be tried with adult-level penalties)
But not old enuff to make sexual decisions (guess you're only adult enuff if someone dies)

If you really wanna "protect children"
Stop punishing them like they're adults.

Also, I read the other day that failure to register for Selective Service is a felony (age 18 again) (thought that went away after Kent State)
And what is the penalty for not registering to vote (also at age 18)?
