Unnecessary Confrontation.

You bring things up when everything was fine.
Running smoothly without any currents or jutting rocks.
Suddenly you decide to bring up things long forgotten,
Breaking a truce that was made.

You continue to complain about things exhausting,
Letting them get to you as though they are occurring presently.
Everyone knows that it's over between the two of you,
So why don't you have the decency to let it rest?

Is there NOTHING else you could possibly do?

NOTHING ELSE you could possibly complain about?

I heard you had a loving and caring boyfriend,
Why is it that you never write about him?
It is as if you are brooding over the one,
The one I love.

What is your point?
Is there any point in it?
Do you WANT her back in your life?

It seems so
The way you constantly bring her back
Even if it is confrontational in nature.

You may say I'm out of place by writing this
However these constant insults become aggravating after a while.
I daresay you have a slight obsession with her,
Forcing her to notice you again and again.

You may try to make yourself the bigger person
Deciding that she was all that was wrong with you
However it takes two to create a problem.

Wasn't it YOU who introduced dating ANOTHER at the same time?
She gave you up because you gave her up
The very moment you proposed the idea.

It's not as though she actually had a say in anything, right?
Then she saw how happy you were with him.
Even if it hurt her, she let you go.

Now say that it is all her fault again.
The reason you two split up.

There is no validity in your argument
Especially when you created the deal-breaker.

One that has NO excuse.

You both had done things detrimental to that relationship
So now you both have moved on.

So GET OVER IT.

Because whining makes you look like a complete imbecile.

Though I should thank you.
For giving up on the one girl
Who now is my light in the dark
The flower within the thorns
The comfort for my agony.

We live and we learn.
Those who don't are doomed to repeat themselves.
Which you are now.
