I watched you cry tears of blood
Rejoiced in you finding the you you lost

At what cost did you pay to rewind time
From my guestimation you learned nothing from that crime

I liked the fire and feeling the heat
I miss the truth sayer and discounting others' beliefs
What could have possibly made you back pedal to the past?

Was it a familiar smile
Or a hint of interest
Was it the photo you sent
Or the comment on Pinterest

Make me understand why you would take back their hand
When you are with another?
You're right it is not for me to understand
But what about the other

Was there a void you needed to be filled for a moment
Just to remember how it felt for enjoyment
