Remember when the sky fell?
Right before stabbing the light
Lost souls still plead to heaven
Without learning how to coexist

When did the dream go silent?
Drowning out this paper heart
Candy coated rhetoric is dead
While guilt remains bittersweet

Mob mentality rules in circles
Killing off all opposing forces
Decades spent chasing fables
While reality strikes down hard

Slaves inside a corrupt system
Individuality is against the law
Spiraling beneath this insanity
