She came to me
She came to me with her cup half empty.
Her words were full of sadness
Of what came to be.
I felt her sorrows and worries at her heart’s regret .
For she was in a bad place
By her own consent.
softly I took her hand in mine
And star gazed into her eyes.
And Her binding ties began to loosen and unwind.
Her cup then tumbled to the ground
Spilling her torment
gone forever.
Wiping her tears away
I picked up her cup with a smile.
And she knew we would fill it with a new beginning together.
Her words were full of sadness
Of what came to be.
I felt her sorrows and worries at her heart’s regret .
For she was in a bad place
By her own consent.
softly I took her hand in mine
And star gazed into her eyes.
And Her binding ties began to loosen and unwind.
Her cup then tumbled to the ground
Spilling her torment
gone forever.
Wiping her tears away
I picked up her cup with a smile.
And she knew we would fill it with a new beginning together.
