linger
we were dizzy lust
and low smolder embers
uttering gooseflesh
to pale the strolling bards
we swore by deep night murmuring
riding rivers of our sighs
gifting perfumed script
to blush the white
of our sheets
you said that you saw angels too
and I never minded
the climb of you
or the tangle of your vines
lilting warm into your gentle
to pool the oceans
of our eyes
lingering in strange doorways
our stars turned corners
and bruised our heels
once our circles made us
only who will moan me now
