"nature of the beast"
"lions, tigers, bears- oh my"; then there's "humankind"; I used to hate when my father would say, get "knowledge" or fall by the wasteside;
every living being at the least feels compelled to survive- like who in the f@#%ing hell asked to be granted this life;
where you have to "eat to live"- find a way "just to get by"~ talib kweli; it's a double edged sword when it comes to being "alive";
nature of the beast- sophisticated- yet primitive creatures all the same- given superficial things, starting with our first and last names;
in the belly of the beast- from the moment ones' conceived; there's no where outside of death from this terrain for one to leave....
see it's easy to be looked down on or seen as an enemy; I relate/emphasize with those who constantly seek out some relief....
feeling stranded in the ocean far off into the sea; and it's bittersweet whenever one refrains from being seen- but when all is said and done- it's a pain to be a "human being"....
