Shadowed Romance

Forbidden fruit, a taste so sweet,  
In quiet corners, hearts would meet.
Two hearts entwined in secret's dream,  
Their love, a never-ending theme
Whispered vows beneath the night,  
A hidden love, a stolen flight.
The world outside could never know,  
The fire that set their souls aglow,
