I volunteer in a charity bookshop every Sunday. I’m an internet book-shopping addict myself, yet I do love browsing the donations people bring in sacks, like sacks of Dennis Wheatleys.

there was a second hand bookshop near covent garden once that sold nothing but whodunnits. I loved that shop.

I always consider it time well spent if I find an old British book when antiquing.

That's how I stumbled across Selected Poems of Winthrop Mackworth Praed.

Title page says Harvard University Press but apparently printed in Great Britain by Butler and Tanner Ltd. (1953)
