Who am I

Mine is to fly upon Death's whisper twixt eager ear and arms of hearts hollow

Mine is to wear smiles put on amidst misty tears and souls afraid of tomorrow

Mine is not to wallow

Mine is to endear and fear self harm and lack of replenishing swallows

Mine is to be charmed and to timidly follow

Mine is to love

Mine is to know that one day love dies

There�s a really quiet and beautiful wisdom on display here. I love how introspective it is - how it faces only the bare truths of existence. I love how it doesn�t shy away from anything.

The short, concise lines really work here. Each line feels like a pinpoint thought.

Thanks Missy, I am really happy to read your comment, I woke up thinking of the 1st line and knew what I wanted to do and about 15 hours later, late into the night finally started writing, knowing I wanted to make something concise, unlike this comment 😊
