Oath of Ro (2024)
I cultivate courage, care, and clarity,
climbing, whatever this life and its stair may be.
I heed the wise heart-voice humming inside me
and face anything facing me without hiding.
I humble myself on this journey to grow—
whether there's water or not, I will Ro!

Author's Note
I set out to write a personal oath to commit myself wholeheartedly to following, and I couldn't help but make it rhyme. I intend to create a new oath every year or so and refresh it so that I may keep an honest reflection of my most urgent, ardent aspirations easily accessible in mind and heart.
