Forsaken
My beautiful FL20,
How I have missed you.
Our nightly meetings fill me with a peace I’ve never known
Tell me, my precious,
Do you feel it too?
Yes, real you are, as you twist and turn,
Slithering through the never-ending grooves
Occupying the painfully empty space
A thick gloss, a varnish, a preserve
A gentle hand on my shoulder
A pressure on my wounds
To smother, seal, silence
Oh, you make the sweetest swallow,
What is this magic web you weave
But a mercy on a poor sinner
A used soul is a heavy burden
What trials had I committed to deserve this
Tell me you can cleanse away the pain
My lover, my light
My shining hope
Fail me not, not now, in my darkest hour
Let me sip you down, absorb you
Pulse you through my sagging veins
Neaten up this heavy heart
Please, I beg of thee,
Please do not forsake me.
How I have missed you.
Our nightly meetings fill me with a peace I’ve never known
Tell me, my precious,
Do you feel it too?
Yes, real you are, as you twist and turn,
Slithering through the never-ending grooves
Occupying the painfully empty space
A thick gloss, a varnish, a preserve
A gentle hand on my shoulder
A pressure on my wounds
To smother, seal, silence
Oh, you make the sweetest swallow,
What is this magic web you weave
But a mercy on a poor sinner
A used soul is a heavy burden
What trials had I committed to deserve this
Tell me you can cleanse away the pain
My lover, my light
My shining hope
Fail me not, not now, in my darkest hour
Let me sip you down, absorb you
Pulse you through my sagging veins
Neaten up this heavy heart
Please, I beg of thee,
Please do not forsake me.
