THE HIDDEN INFERNO

to be in a crowd or
step forward with
an opinion; shy and
lacking eye contact.
IGNORED
and never invited and
saying "No" if an invite
was offered. who
was this person?
BY
chance we were sharing
an elevator going to our
rooms having attended a
company business seminar.
"How did you like the seminar?"
I asked, looking me in the eyes
with a reply, "Okay but most of it
was old stuff." I agreed and we
continued to evaluate the seminar.
As we were leaving the elevator
in a shy voice I heard, "Care to
join me for a drink in my room?"
Stunned with a momentary loss
for words I replied, "Yes!"
As we entered the room ...
