It Isn't Me
I want to disappear to some faraway place
Just get up and go and not leave a trace
No forwarding address for me to be found
Break free from the ties and be no longer bound
Alone as ive always been, nobody should care
If they do come looking I wouldn't be there
Off in the unknown Id be happy and free
Nowhere at all is where I want to be
A hint of a memory lost in the years
A piece of nostalgia hidden in tears
A faint thought of missing in somebodys mind
A feeling of loss that can't be defined
Unsure if I ever really existed at all
Something they once knew but now can't recall
So if you take notice of some absentee
Please don't come searching, cuz it isn't me

Please don't come searching, cuz it isn't me” I thought of when you left before. When I tell you, I was searching high and low for you, trying to find anything to connect you to, it’s true. And I would do it again. I know that when people randomly get lost, they don’t want people to find them. I’ve done it before. But the search? When you realize, this person cares so much they looked for me. That’s a feeling I wish I could always feel. So I am sorry, but I will go against your word and search for you until you are found. Just to make sure you are okay. Keep swimming

Wow. I didn't know that. I didn't know that you searched for me. Im sorry that I made you feel that way. I guess the truth of it is, I didn't know that you cared that much. I didn't realize that I had made that kind of impact on you. I dont know why I came and checked back in. Something told me to. I still don't know what it was but I saw your poems and they hit me hard. To see how much it bothered you to know that I was gone. I didn't want to be the cause of any pain for you. It did feel good to know that I mattered. That I had touched somebody's life. That somebody would miss me. That was a huge turning point for me in this journey to find my peace. To not allow this darkness to keep me trapped and alone. So, thank you for that.
I gave you my word then that I would not leave. That i would be here for you. That i would celebrate your victories with you. My word is my bond. The good part is that you have a way to reach me now if you ever should need. If ever I leave this place for whatever reason, know that it does not mean I am abandoning you. You have become an important person to me. I am so ridiculously proud of you and all that you have managed to accomplish so far and I look forward to seeing a very bright future for you. We will both keep swimming until we are walking on water.

Your poem touch my very being...It brought watery eyes, for I stand alone on my own. But reading your lines served warmth in a cold life of mine. Thank you for your touch of feelings with words.

I'm sorry to know of your solitude. I feel this way myself very often. I'm not sure how to fix it but I write to release and it helps. I'm glad that my writing could offer you even a small amount of solace. All we can do is find things to help us keeping moving forward because everything changes. What is now will change. We just have to make sure we don't get stuck in place. Sending you will wishes.
