An Ocean’s Lullaby
Turquoise waters far as the eye can see
The sun shines on the water
Brings to life a hue of blue green
Waves so gentle, carries me
Making everything seem so serene
It makes me forget
Everything I regret
Or had lost
A toast
To those I miss
To the dreams I wish
The Ocean’s song
carries me
Reminding me
I must go on

Every bad memory I’ve had the beach cures for me. When I feel bad about life, the beach heals and reminds me to be grateful and to rest. I look forward to going back again

The beach can surely do that. I live about 7 miles from the ocean and I too utilize the beach quite often. Very therapeutic and just sends me into another world. Great description & detail on this write.

Beaches can be therapeutic places, as some of my own experiences bear out. Also I have stayed at seafront hotels where the sound of the tides at night has made me sleep soundly, however few hours of sleep I had before waking breakfast.
