Believe in Me

Every night, I get the lecture. That I'll fail high school, that's your conjecture. That I won't get a job, that I'll live on the streets. But I'll prove you wrong, trust me. I'll get a good job, live in a big house. Have a big family, safe as a mouse. And of course you still doubt me, killing my dreams. Your pushing my limits, breaking the seams. If one day I lose it, I guess you'll know why. There's nothing I can do, just cry, cry, cry. Believe in me please, for once in my life. Better start now, prevent eternal strife.
