Amongst the cadence of geld gallows
The gibe of pain and cooping storge
plummets along your shadows wild
and into a runaway panegyric
does the nectar of a hanged harangue
sip the gallop of a winters pyre,
dripping druthers pon
dithering dalliances
dewdrop snags
and skirted how ‘bouts
skip through gated echoes
and demurrals that pirouette
towed clouts amongst
a charred nimbus
and stitched repines,
while wrapped yonks
and frothing adieus
jackknife through granite hellos
and atrophying nought tallies
au revoir et pars avec dieu,
and inside scars, we gift
skinned rosaries where agape
and philia screen screaming reveries,
as I dug you staidly into the gloaming
amongst the tide in a shadows sigh.
