Beloved
I courted this moment,
If only ever in my dreams;
running barefoot in the grass
under the fullest moon,
I made such a game of my chase;
in relentless pursuit of my name
dripping thickly from your lips,
I’d see them stained crimson
from the shadows
you’d drink of me
If only ever in my dreams;
running barefoot in the grass
under the fullest moon,
I made such a game of my chase;
in relentless pursuit of my name
dripping thickly from your lips,
I’d see them stained crimson
from the shadows
you’d drink of me
