I've been baking
At least every day
But nothing is taking away from the urge
to scratch my skin off
until I can peel each individual tendon out of my body
my sadness is not cute

I have therapy on Monday so it's fine.
also whoever thinks mental illnesses are cute I truly, dearly hope that I gave you a visual representation of what it feels like EVERY DAY. I hope you know how utterly horrific it is, and how lucky you are to not be burdened with it.

Hi Moony
Your authors note reminded me of so many things. I have diagnosed OCD and it drives me mad when somebody says oh I’m a little bit OCD” never understanding the weight of what it’s like, so I certainly get the mental illnesses not being cute quirks thing.
Thank you for sharing this and I celebrate the vulnerable nature of it.

I may not know what it feels like to want to tear my skin off but I can definitely relate with the unrelenting nature of mental afflictions. There is absolutely nothing cute about it to the person that is experiencing them.
I truly hope that the therapy sessions will be able to provide you with some relief, however that might manifest itself. Im proud of you girl, for seeking answers and solutions. I'm proud of you for not being stagnant. Im proud of you for how far you come. Keep moving forward. You got this! I believe in you. 🙂
