Whiskey and ginger ale

 




As far as celebrations of Irish jubilation
this was mild as they go

Pint of Guinness followed byJjamesons and ginger ale

A swig here and there
simply taking in the ambience

In my youth well
I might have sampled each stout ad ale
Then and only then
double Jamesons and ginger ale

Sláinte sweet Róisín Dubh

Pretty things
Simultaneously hurl and sing
Possibly even myself amongst them
