It was the reference to sewing that caught my eye. But the entirety of this poem is much more relevant than a sewing guide! This can be applied to so many aspects of life. Well done!

Been sewing since I was a kid. Something therapeutic about it, I think. Enjoy it as you learn it. Possibilities endless!

That's awesome! My mom sewed, but I just wasn't interested when I was younger. Always thought of sewing as making quilts or clothes, and neither appealed to me for a long time. It's been so cool to realize how many things are actually possible. I think hats are really fun to make. :-)

I've missed your poetry and this didn't disappoint in the fkn slightest, this was a banquet of life lessons we don't get taught in school or while growing up, it applies to so many life situations, all the mistakes we make and the lessons we learn along this road of life, I remember when I did fashion for a year in college and snagging all the material up when using a sewing machine at first, so i've definitely been there all lost in the bunched up fabric and panicking on how to get it all out from under the needle ... and don't get me started on the amount of times i've caught my finger under the needle while feeding the fabric through 🤣

Absolutely love this, brought back some memories and gave me a chuckle and also made me reflect on some mistakes made in my life 😆

Yay! You're back!

I haven't got my finger caught under the needle yet (trying not to gain a new fear of that), but I've definitely had my fair share of bunched up fabric and figuring out how to fix the mess when it's all locked up and nothing will move. Oh joy, oh joy.
