Confusion
Treat me softly,
Treat me nice,
Brush me off,
Heart of ice,
Pretend you care,
Pretend you don't,
Say you miss me,
I know you won't.
Those blue eyes,
That search my soul,
Can leave me empty,
Make me whole.
That body moves,
I watch, with intent,
The nearest wall
Gains a dent.
I lose my temper,
Lose my mind,
My sanity's gone,
I can't find.
Dry my tears,
Twist your knife,
Never been so confused,
My whole life.
Insignificant, important,
Nothing and all.
In one night,
You sent me up, then watched me fall.
Treat me nice,
Brush me off,
Heart of ice,
Pretend you care,
Pretend you don't,
Say you miss me,
I know you won't.
Those blue eyes,
That search my soul,
Can leave me empty,
Make me whole.
That body moves,
I watch, with intent,
The nearest wall
Gains a dent.
I lose my temper,
Lose my mind,
My sanity's gone,
I can't find.
Dry my tears,
Twist your knife,
Never been so confused,
My whole life.
Insignificant, important,
Nothing and all.
In one night,
You sent me up, then watched me fall.
