Castle Walls

Lily was a little girl.
She lived in her castle walls.
When she was bored,she walked the castle halls.
 
All doors locked shut.
So she doesn't get hurt out there.
Where inside the castle walls,life was always fair.
 
But one day,she didn't listen to the warnings woe.
She ran into the woods,mountain low.
A comforting voice came into the rescue.
 
A magical purr.
Offering her happiness,gold.
Who wants to make her happy,and she wouldn't feel woe.
 
She knew she was hypnotised,by his love and affection.
But she eventually had to go home.
""Don't worry,you'll be safe.""
 
She survived outside her castle gates.
Exploring a whole new emotion and place.
Living in a slower motion.
 
""Everything you want,in gold or not.""
I'll give you anything you've been dreaming of.
Said the comforting voice.
 
I could be the magic story you've been told.
As life,happiness and woe unfold.
She felt safe in his arms.
 
But she had places to be.
He told her, ""Go home. Remember me.""
She grew up by her castle walls.
 
And explored past her castle halls.
So afraid,so alone.
She found someone who made her feel at home.
 
So follow everywhere I go.
Top of the mountains or valley low.
Give you the affection you've dreamt of.
 
You just have to let me in.
And you'll be the happiest you've ever been.
Break out of the castle walls.
 
You'll be safe under my control.
You'll never feel fear of the world or woe.
You can see there is no big,bad wolf.
 
Hiding top of mountains or valley low.
They warned her,there's bad people out there.
They told her,do not go there!
 
But one day she awoke.
And realised the truth she had been told.
Her future was now in her own hold.
 
She no longer tried to run.
And came out at the rising sun.
You'll be safe,you won't feel woe.
 
Is what the voice last told.
As she held his hand.
Escaped her castle walls.
 
And learned to defend.
