You quoted Monty Python

I told you I needed
to sit on your face

And you quoted
Monty Fucking Python.

The corners
of my eyes
crinkled
as I stepped out
of my
dark green
negligee

and watched your
Adam’s apple
stick for
a moment too long
when
you swallowed

“Sit on my face
and tell me you
love me,”
you said

I pushed
your shoulders
into the bed
with my
knees

and there’s no
doubt in either
of our heads

that
I will
