Metamorphosis of an Angel

Metamorphosis of an Angel

Auburn fire that burns deep down
With ions dancing in her blue eyes
Like angels on a needle head
But her panoramic irises a field for winged seraphs
Where poppies blossom under a midnight moon
Whose ellipse is a baroque design on ruby crescent
Of lips born to light the pilgrim’s path
While traveling the scimitar of glossy flame
With azure amulet suspended on ivory neck
Emblem of a feminine coat of arms
And feline earring hanging like the meow of her smile
When blue glass orbs rise over wine dark tresses
Whose burgundy sea falls in silken waves
To caress the nodes of ancient chakra
Sky born into ionosphere of a dark ballerina
Dusted in first pink blush of dawn
