Alienation

Find yourself
In the depth of humanity.
In many shades that shine
The ruins of life
Eager transgressions
And they wane the evasive sun
Catatonic grief, defacing the stars

Sheltered ruins
Can't wait for these havens to grow
But those seeds of bigotry ,have yet to be sown.
The hiss of a deviant.
Coercion of serpent blood.
Revelations that seem to menace
The strain of these dwelling spirits

I sit on hope.
To see if it exalts my peril.
Never to forget things simple and few
The mantle and the texture.
We bind the chasm of earth
Hope then may descend
Through the barriers I defend.

Align my path with soothing light
For runes strike down,
Among the malevolent skies
Will they deplete or even prevail?
Or will it reveal this lonesome trail.
Never seem to barter my vague, demise.

Far gone is the haven
Too far away to see.
Deprivation lingers here
Will I confront the terror?
With no point to gather or grasp?
Sanctum seems to wither down.
Then it all starts anew.
