Mrs. Potato Head
Mrs. Potato head,tell me now.
Is this worth it,why and how?
Would her face stay together?
Even if we are no longer together?
And her skin turns to leather?
Perhaps a thin waist,light as a feather.
Or bigger lips, would that make it better?
With gold,blue eyes.
And whiter teeth.
Hiding the pain beneath.
As the time flies, and it all fades away.
As you lost the real you.
You took the chance and lost the prize.
With sadness,insecurities in your eyes.
Now your skin,leather,falling apart.
For you sacrificed your looks and heart.
Does beauty come with a warranty?
If I do this, will he like me more?
Will I be glowing, and finally feel whole?
They say if you aren't attractive, they won't be inlove.
They won't see you,for who you are in your heart.
That's what they all said to me.
You got surgery, and start to fall apart.
And it's such a waste, when as women,we go through this phase.
Cutting and pasting onto your own face.
And covered up insecurities with lace.
Kids forever, young and free,is what we want to be.
But you are already perfect to me.
Listen and you'll see your looks shouldn't matter to you,or me.
Just keep being you.
And you'll always radiate youth.
Oh, Mrs. Potato Head.
How much did this surgery cost, laying on a bed?
When you aren't born with it,you want it more.
Untill you're plastic as a doll.
Trust me when I say,it doesn't make you feel whole.
You'll just fall apart.
Because beauty is in the heart.
Make sure to read this warning.
Because it's harming the real you.
So take off that makeup, and let me see.
The beauty inside you and me.
