Dancing with the reflection

Eyes rolled white back
mattress insulation for the
Convulsing
Twitching
Writhing
Guy whose lips stain bloody saliva
from bitten tongue

Another life that portrait painted discarded
paraphernalia
The blasé debaser
Whiskey chasing the bourbon chaser
Eyeballs racing bright smoke billowing

Holding her skin pressed close
One eye followed by another open
gazing back

Game changing moment
Father
..
.
.
..
Daughter
Trafficked wouldn't be far from true
Five years went by
with out so much as a letter from her

Out of the blue
contact tentatively resumed
Forty minutes facetime such joy reflecting back
Social services deem time to say goodbye
Her pleading to see daddy in person
sorry not this day
Next we speak we shall talk about that

Daddy loves you
