Allow me to Pretend
I beg you please,
Allow me to pretend.
Pretend the tension exists beyond my mind.
My mind is hazy when I think of you,
Your soft whispers and muffled laughs.
In those late nights I get to imagine,
To imagine I don’t have to beg for permission to admire you.
That you will pull me in to kiss you.
I have these thoughts with you in my arms,
My longing continues to blossom.
If begging is all it takes,
Allow me.
If begging is all it takes,
Allow me.
