MOTHER LIVES ON

MOTHER
physically left this
life several years ago
but she is still with me.
When I look in the mirror
I see my mother in me.
When I eat certain foods
I still taste her cooking.
When I have a sense
of real guilt I hear her
voice saying, "I told you so."
When I question is there
anything such as  genuine love;
I remember her amazing love,
forgiveness, and example of
"real, sacrificial, and strong love."
YES,
mother lives on and I wish her
a happy day every day but especially
on this special MOTHERS DAY.
