Nature Is Nurture

On the river, birds singing, making their nests in the clefts of the rocks. Beavers sliding down mud walls to return to their underground burrows. The quiet of the water as my boat cuts through the flow ever so softly, gracefully almost.
I never knew the beauty that existed from the view of the sparrow, as it sings from the tops of its very own overgrown reeded island.
The water is clear today and so is my heart, as I lay back and let the current ease me on down the river.
The smell of hay fields and fresh earth was almost enough to make me cry.
(Okay, maybe I cried)
Honey bees in an old Oak Tree, boy if I could only reach that sucker. Lol
This peace for a moment, the stillness seems other worldly, yet at the same time so alive with nature, confirming to me that we as humans are so blessed and miss out on the beauty in the small things in our worries throughout the day. Bills, bills...bills.
Eh, they will be there even when we are dead and gone.
Do yourself a favor...buy a boat.
