The Masquerade
I'm tired of this masquerade,
This living of a lie.
I must confess,
Lift this weight off my chest.
I'm a fool, a fraud, a sham.
I'm hiding behind a forever-grinning mask,
That's only pretty at first glance.
Look underneath my clever disguise,
Do you like what you see?
The scars so deep,
Leaving me disfigured.
This living of a lie.
I must confess,
Lift this weight off my chest.
I'm a fool, a fraud, a sham.
I'm hiding behind a forever-grinning mask,
That's only pretty at first glance.
Look underneath my clever disguise,
Do you like what you see?
The scars so deep,
Leaving me disfigured.
