Moonlight’s Beam

During the silence of the night,
Where stars above do softly stream,
In dreams, we find our hearts alight,
Reflecting love's eternal beam.

The moon, a silent sentinel,
Casts shadows where our whispers stream,
During the silence of the night,
Where stars above do softly beam.

Though time may march and take its flight,
And life may change like a swift stream,
Our souls will dance in pale moonlight,
With hopes that reach beyond extreme.

During the silence of the night,
Our love's more than a fleeting dream.
