I am trying to write a poem,
some inspiration, some words for thought
I need ideas to write this poem:
what should I write and what should I not?
should I write about deep, bleek, dark depression,
of how I wish to end my life?;
or about my love, of emotion and passion,
just please tell me what should I write?

You should write from where you are
So write from the heart
If you do not have a subject
Do free association and just put down
any words on paper
Then write poetry and write a LOT OF POETRY
You do not have to publish any of them
until you are satisfied
Like a pianist who has to practice every day
Like a ballerina who has to practice every day
A poet too...must write every day
You will see...you will get your answers
