I'm already gone
I walk with head down
Hiding my gaze
Deflecting suspicious glances
Leaving all dazed
Everyone sees it
Pain, hurt, loneliness and fear
But they want no part
Intentionally steer clear
A diseased leper
Shunned from society
Crying for help
But all eyes turn from me
Everyday I decay
Waiting for the grave
Past the tipping point
Of being saved
See me and run
Stop to say bye, don't
I'm not there
I'm already gone
Hiding my gaze
Deflecting suspicious glances
Leaving all dazed
Everyone sees it
Pain, hurt, loneliness and fear
But they want no part
Intentionally steer clear
A diseased leper
Shunned from society
Crying for help
But all eyes turn from me
Everyday I decay
Waiting for the grave
Past the tipping point
Of being saved
See me and run
Stop to say bye, don't
I'm not there
I'm already gone
