the agonies
from the womb to
the grave
from first breath
to last gasp
matchbox sized
agonies
car sized
agonies
superstore sized
agonies
agonies of every
imagination
the blunt force
trauma of the
everyday
the persistence
of agony like
nagging mosquitoe
bites upon our
pale flesh
like the last hand
held
the last hand
pulled
away
the last kiss
given
the last kiss
received
the last love
blessed
the last love
cursed
the agonies:
sharp
dull
burning
icy
stationary
radiating
forver
ours
married to each
of us through war
and peace
throug genius and
stupidity
through doing the
right things that
turn out wrong
through doing the
wrong things that
turn out right
forever the court
jesters the agonies
are
and the joke is
always at our
expense
