Choked

Dewy raindrops
Roll downwards
On misted glass
Creating a distorted view
Of the world outside
From where i reside
It's dark, dank, and grey
And lonely, and isolating
The pitter patter
Echoes the rythm of my heartbeat
Soft, and fluid
Freely flowing
I imagine
Flying
My wings outstretched
Gliding through the silver tears
Abandoned
Below the greying clouds
That hang like shrouds
I begin to drown
As i freefall
Drenched feathers
And soaking wings
A deluge
Drowning within
A thousand sorrows
I crash into a slated roof
Close to a smoking chimney
As a weather vane
A pirouetting fairy
Spins
As i choke
On the smoke
Of sadness
