The Torture
the pain is truly
excruciating the
cramp hard to
carry, i do it
myself, take
30+ laxatives
Hurt myself
to get rid of
the crap i ate
for some days
insane to think
i'm so tender to
others and yet
Harm myself
fucked up that
i'm a bit skinny
& want to lose
as many kilos
as is humanely
possible, to take
up little to no space

If I'm ever brave enough to post my own poem about ED & control it will only be because you gave me the inspiration to do so. You have such a strong & inspiring spirit. It's that last line that brought the hammer down square on the nail for me. How small can we shrink ourselves to not feel like an intrusion into a world that doesn't fit us? Amazingly impactful piece, sis 💖
